Take a stroll through eight private gardens of every design, style and size, throughout the Palos Verdes Peninsula , from the ocean cliffs to the rolling hills and meadows; Sunday, April 19, 2009. Sponsored by the Sisterhood of Temple Beth El, many gardens have never before been open for public viewing. Each holds a "secret" whether it's a secret staircase, woodland path or hidden entrance, each designed to delight the senses. All of the beautiful gardens will be open from 10:30 am until 4:00 pm for touring. Lunch will be served on the veranda in one of the gardens, offering a spacious Catalina Island view, from 11:30 am until 2:00 pm. Spring time is the ideal season to explore these magnificent gardens and see the many fragrant blooms. Look for your invitation and be sure to RSVP promptly.
