Together with our Board of Education, the faculty, and Rabbi Briskin, we have been busily preparing for the start of Torah School in September. We are energized and eager to begin our year of learning together. Whether it’s your family’s first venture into Torah School or your tenth, we hope you join us in our excitement to begin a new year. Torah School BEGINS on Sunday, September 12 at 9 a.m. for students in grades Pre-K through Heh/Seven. Our Board of Education hosts its annual Bagel Breakfast, beginning at 8 a.m. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to catch up with your TBE friends and meet new ones. TUESDAY, September 28 heralds the beginning of our Confirmation Department, grades 8 and 9. We are continuing Keruv, our successful dinner-and-learn structure. Parents are invited to join us for dinner and conversation beginning at 6:15 p.m. When the teens go to class at 6:45, parents will meet with Sisterhood leaders, Rabbi Jordana Chernow-Reader, our Youth Group Advisor, and me. School concludes at 8:00 pm. NEW THIS YEAR: All registration materials and school information are available ONLINE~greener and less expensive! There are links below for the registrations materials for 5771 ~ 2010-2011: One Torah School registration form for your whole family, separate emergency cards for each student, a schedule of fees. We ask you to complete the registration form (both sides), fee schedule and emergency information cards, and return them with payment as soon as possible. Each of these forms is an interactive PDF. Click on each field and then type in your information. You may print the completed form and mail it with your check, or you may save the forms on your computer and attach them to an email to Debi Rowe: educator@bethelsp.org. Send your check via USPS to our office. Our *Torah School Family Handbook* and Calendar are also online--linked here as PDF files. There are new policies and schedules this year, so please read carefully and print out the Family Contract to sign and bring to school.** Thank you for using our “new” technology. PLEASE NOTE: Students are not fully registered in Torah School until their family’s blue Temple membership commitment form has been returned to our office.
